ARGYLE DUO TEST POSITIVE FOR COVID-19

One player and one member of staff have tested positive for coronavirus the club have confirmed.

Plymouth Argyle opted to do an extra round of testing after learning of the outbreak at division 2 club Leyton Orient who they played in the Caraboa Cup last Tuesday 15th September.

The Devon Club has said their League One match against Shrewsbury on Saturday will still go ahead as planned.

Both individuals have been un-named and are asymptomatic and will self isolate.

Plymouth say they have informed their most recent opponents AFC Wimbledon, who they drew 4-4 with on Saturday.
