ARGYLE HAVE TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR IN THEIR SIGHTS

Plymouth Argyle's reward for beating Queens Park Rangers in the first round of the Carabao Cup is an away trip to Second division Leyton Orient.

The winners then face a home tie to Jose Mourinho's Tottenham Hotspur, Should the pilgrims be successful at Brisbane Road (Matchroom stadium) they will face the premiership team full of international's.

It would be the first time the two teams have been drawn together in a cup competition in 58 years, the last time being an FA Cup 4th round tie in January 1962 when Spurs had just completed the league & cup double, they ran out 5-1 winners with goals from footballing legends Jimmy Greaves(2) Cliff Jones, John White & Terry Medwin .

Tottenham went on to win the cup that year beating Burnley in the final 3-1.

However Ryan Lowe and his team will only be focused on the fixture ahead, with Leyton Orient being the first obstacle.
