Omnium Radio presenter DJ Aiken had a sunny trip away to Torremolinos, Costa Del Sol, Spain and had such a good time he wants to share the fun of his time away in the Mediterranean.

On Saturday 30th May I departed Plymouth on an adventure to Sunny Spain! The journey to the airport was a little over 2 hours long by airport taxi and then by 3pm...I was in Spain!
I had time to unpack and then venture out to do a spot of shopping before getting ready for the first evening meal of the holiday. Yummy!
Sunday was well spent on the sunbeds after having a nice breakfast and then I went out for a shopping trip. After dinner I watched some shows in the evening which were great!
Monday after breakfast, like a seasoned holiday maker, I put the towels out before heading out for some more holiday shopping. I sandwiched lunchtime with some fun games of boules on the beach with the family before heading to dinner and then rounding another great day off with some more live shows!
The next day I had another shopping excursion with my mum and dad followed by a well earnt rest on a sunbed in the beautiful Mediterranean heat. Dinner Tuesday night was lovely as we had guests join us followed by some more guests.
Wednesday I decided to have an explore and a walk around the area, what a way to top off seeing some nice sights by having a nice swim! More boules ensued on the beach after stretching my sea legs, dinner was next, followed by evening entertainment.
On Thursday I treated myself to an ice cream on the sunbed and I won the days session of boules! Hooray! I had to celebrate with a hot chocolate before seeing my favourite show of the week! Mamma Mia! I enjoyed watching the show as I am a fan of ABBA and always play it on my radio show, Tuesdays 5-7pm.
Friday was another successful day in terms of boules...victorious again! I rounded off the evening with some cold drinks with friends.
I enjoyed spending Saturday on the beach and we celebrated Vera's birthday in the evening, a very happy birthday to her!
I spent Sunday on the sunbeds before watching the evenings entertainment, a lazy Sunday was needed after birthday celebrations...and Monday!
Tuesday I tried my arm at a round of Golf, crazy golf! I then played some more boules and had another amazing hot chocolate before the evenings entertainment and then onto Wednesday where I enjoyed more boules on the beach for the day before having a long, relaxed and deserved swim.
Thursday was the last full day of our holiday in Spain, the time had flown by, as they say when you're having fun....I had another round of golf with my dad and watched my favourite show of the holiday for the second time and it was just as amazing as the first time! Mamma Mia, yes indeedy!
On Friday we had to pack to return home to Plymouth, I have had a really good time away and I hope you have enjoyed reading my account of my fun trip away!
My favourite parts of the holiday were seeing Mamma Mia, playing a healthy amount of beach boules and also the very nice food and ice creams.
