Local theatre legend and Chairman of touchwood theatre company David Bailey sadly passed away aged 61.
Friends, family and supports have taken to social media to share their condolences for the news of Davids passing with some breathtaking statuses, comments and memories of the much loved actor.
Teresa wrote: "Heaven has gained a star today. A star that twinkled so brightly on this earth in the guise of David Bailey. Whose love, compassion, and hard work was known throughout Plymouth, whether through the Theatre world, the scouting world or childcare. Thank you for being you David, shine bright my darling and never ever lose your cheekiness. Will miss you RIP lovely man ⭐️⭐️⭐️❤️❤️❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️"
David starred in many local productions around the city whilst dedicating his time to projects such as the scouts and helping young people learn the ropes in theatre production with the touchwood theatre company, whilst building the reputation as a very much loved and respected player of the dramatics community with in Plymouth and afar.
He will be truly missed by thousands of people that had the pleasure of meeting, working and sharing precious time with David.
